On Target for March Completion

The Mackenzie River Anabranch Diversion and Levee Construction project is well underway to nearing completion at the Jellinbah Coal Mine in Blackwater.

The 4.2km levee has been completed and hydro-mulched, and the first half of the diversion earthworks has been successfully completed, with seeding and mulching well established.

The Scraper crews consisting of 17 x Cat 631 Scrapers and 3 x D10 Dozers are in the final stages and working in tandem with the Truck Teams.

The truck teams are primarily handling longer hauls and are equipped with a Hitachi 1200 (120t) Excavator, Cat 777 Dump Trucks as well as the PC300 Excavators and Cat 740 Dump Trucks.

The teams are collaborating exceptionally well, maintaining strong productivity and incident-free work environment. While wet weather in January and February presents a challenge, it is being effectively managed.

Jellinbah Mine and Exact Civil are working well together and looking forward to a successful completion.
