I was the quality assurance certifying RPEQ engineer on a coal tailings dam construction project (RD2) at Cameby Downs Mine, where ExactCivil Construction (ECC) were the principal Contractor.On the above project ECC achieved a high level of compliance to the quality specifications and took pride in the quality of the finished product.ECC worked openly and collaboratively with the project team to resolve any quality related issues to achieve good project outcomes.

NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is pleased to recommend Exact Civil Construction (ECC) for the excellent work that they did in constructing the last two Tailings Facilities at our Pajingo Mine site. ECC was first engaged to construct the Stage 10 lift on our TSF1 commencing in 2020. As a result of the good work that they did ECC was awarded the Construction of our new TSF2 Tailings facility, including the installation of a HDPE Liner, slurry distribution pipework and decant pontoon pump.

Exact Civil Construction is running ahead of schedule in our major project to expand the Tailings Storage Facility (TF) at Pajingo Mine, as the Minjar Gold operation looks to the future. The uplift project was successfully completed during September 2021, two months ahead of schedule. The smar planning and innovation of the Commercial Team and in collaboration with contractor Exact Civil to use more effective equipment on site resulted in a cost saving in excess of $3.5m.
